DONATION FAQ

We do, however, expect every contributor to respect the knowledge of water professionals, local organizations, and the communities being served.
- 02The Foundation is building its contributor and advisor network as its programs, partnerships, and technical priorities develop. Some opportunities may be project-based, while others may support future working groups, prototypes, research initiatives, or operational needs.
- 03Yes. We welcome conversations about software, cloud infrastructure, data, devices, connectivity, cybersecurity, engineering, professional services, and other in-kind contributions. Proposed contributions will be evaluated based on mission relevance, technical compatibility, security, sustainability, and the ability to create meaningful value.
- 04Yes. Potential forms of collaboration may include research, capstone projects, technical development, scientific validation, fellowships, internships, data analysis, and interdisciplinary working groups. Any formal opportunity will depend on current organizational capacity and defined project needs.
- 05Yes. We welcome introductions from organizations working directly on water access, public health, community development, climate resilience, infrastructure, and humanitarian response. We are particularly interested in learning about challenges where improved data, sensing, analytics, or decision-support capabilities could strengthen existing work
- 06As specific pilot and deployment opportunities are developed, the foundation may offer project-based sponsorship and restricted-giving opportunities. Until then, unrestricted support provides the greatest flexibility to fund the organizational, technical, and partnership foundations required to launch responsible programs.
- 07Not necessarily. Partnerships and contributions must align with the Foundation’s mission, ethical standards, technical needs, security requirements, and commitment to community dignity. We will prioritize quality, relevance, and long-term value over the volume of activity.
